This weapon is geared towards contest surfing in crappy chest high conditions. This does not necessarily mean you have to be a contest surfer, you might simply be the guy who wants the edge over your mate during free surf sessions. If so the Stubble should be your go to board in the many below average days we get along the South African east and west coats. The Stubble boasts a wider nose and tail, with reduced nose and tail rocker, single entry concave with magnified double barrel concave through the fins and eve upon exit. This thing has got more squirt than you could ever imagine. It stays on the rail even in flat spots, glides over roe sections, draws tight arcs in the smallest of pockets and paddles like a dream.
You should ride this board a couple inches shorter than you are tall.
