The Point of Gold holds a special energy for our finned friends and borders the sanctuary area of the most northern part of the Isimtangaliswo World Heritage Site; the Kosi Bay Marine Sanctuary. To the north is borders Ponta Techobanine, an area famed for it€™s shallow and pristine coral reefs\u003cbr\u003eThe Ponta do Ouro Partial Marine Reserve was proclaimed in 2009 and has a total area of 678 km2. It is located in southern Mozambique€™s Matutuine District \u0026amp; is an important component of the Maputoland's Lubombo Transfrontier Conservation Area that was created for the €œPreserving \u0026amp; Protecting marine \u0026amp; coastal species \u0026amp; their habitats€�. Iconic species in the reserve include turtles, marine mammals \u0026amp; a diverse \u0026amp; interesting reef fauna. Our Reserve is governed by a Management Plan that has Regulations pertaining to marine mammal tourism.\u003cbr\u003eJetskis are limited ONLY to those for fishing.
