FIVE Water Wear was born out of a love of the African landscape, coastline and the wildlife within it. FIVE's founder and designer, Dominique Nash, a born and bred South African, wanted to create a truly African contemporary and luxury water wear brand giving protection from the harsh African sun while enjoying the crystal clear waters and reefs of the African archipelagoes, whilst also giving back to the African environment. Combining style and luxury, each garment embodies a sense of wanderlust, adventure and environmental conscience. FIVE water wear is lovingly handmade in Cape Town, South Africa.
In a collaboration with the Hurricane Surf brand, Ocean Storm has used the highly successful Lil Ninja shape file from their shortboard range to launch a soft board which is set to change the way you feel about knee high waves! This little nugget is based off one of their short boards which has heaps of speed, great flow and pace. The best thing about this soft top is that it comes with Futures fins slots, either thruster or quad, meaning you can ride glass or other quality fins in the board. This completely changes the game! 3 x fibreglass stringers are added to the hand finished shapes before a high density IXPE foam layer is added to the top deck and a light mesh fabric infused HDP slick to the bottom.
